Whether it is Wood,Metal or stone....you need a hammer for the job

            Paul hammer

From  youth, Paul Hammer has had a love for working with wood, stone and  metal.  In High School he worked on mastering his skill by taking Technical Drawing and Construction classes.  After school and weekends he learned how to build homes from start to finish in the family construction business.  In his spare time, he crafted unique pieces of furniture.  When he finished school he started creating a 1780’s period house, which became “the talk of the town” as it had a mix of authentic and period reproduction hand made parts.  He desired to make this house as close to a house built in 1780 as possible, so he had to learn new skills.  He learned metalworking in order to make his own hardware.  He spent many hours on stonework, which became very enjoyable to him, as he was able to have closeness with nature and at the same time to creature something beautiful.  This skill turned into a side business for him.

However, his true love was in working with wood.  Whether it was building a raised panel library, a wine cellar, or a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture - each was a expression of his love.  Wood has so much life in it _ every piece has its own interest, with grain pattern and color.

So, if you need a paneled room or just a wooden pen for a gift, Paul would like to be able to serve YOU!!

GOAL TO CLIENTS

I, Paul, am the third generation in a family construction company, which began in the 1940’s.  Observation, in growing up around this business, has helped me to understand that each client’s needs are unique and should be addressed differently.  I try to set myself apart from others in the industry by being very upfront from the beginning to avoid any confusion.  It is important to come to a clear understanding of what services we can provide and the costs involved.  If there are services which we cannot provide ourselves, I do have a source of reliable contractors to help.  I will work either by fixed bid or by the hour ( time and materials); however, I honestly feel that by the hour is the fairest way to work.  I pride myself in doing quality work and my goal is to have a happy, satisfied customer who will recommend me to others.
